When I first posted Jessica’s review I didn’t mention her name–Jessica Rabbit–or her blog http://www.omnilust.com, both of which are pretty cool. Without further ado (and some credit!) I give you Jessica from Omni Lust!

I love winning things… especially sex toys! I was excited to win a spot as the guest reviewer at On Her Back. My prize was the Pleasure Works Siren provided by Good Vibrations – for a review of course.

The Siren is a dildo made by Pleasure Works. It is made of 100{3f7c80553853438a366aef0b7e76dba6b33433c1f55cb64b62d723dc82ff4775} silicone, making it body safe. It is available in two colors – black and purple. My Siren is black, which just happens to be one of my favorite colors.

The packaging is simple and functional. It arrives in a sturdy recyclable box that has a large picture of the dildo on the front and back. There is information about the toy on each side of the box. When you open the top, the dildo inside is wrapped in a clear plastic bag. I did notice a slight tacky feel when I took the dildo out of the bag.

The Siren has a smooth shaft with a distinguished curve that is geared for g spot or prostate play. The head juts out from the shaft, but has no ridge. The pronounced head is for extra stimulation. The shaft widens as it approaches the base. The base is wide and sturdy, making it safe for anal play and great for use with a harness. The bottom of the base is smooth and flat. The shaft is flexible enough to bend and allow the tip to touch the base without much resistance. The tip is firm for easy penetration.

There is a definite drag with the material, so be sure to use lots of lube. This toy is best suited with water-based lubricants. It is suited for use by all genders. It can be used with a partner – with or without a harness – or for solo play. Since the base is not long, it may be difficult for those with larger figures to keep a good grip during solo play. The Siren measures 8″ long with 7″ insertable length. At it’s widest point, the shaft measures 5″ around ( 1 1/2″ diameter).

I have been on a quest to get that elusive g spot orgasm that I have heard so much about. Unfortunately, the Siren didn’t take me there. That is not to say that it wouldn’t work for others who might be more in tune with their g spots. As for me, I’m still on the hunt…

Overall, it is a simple dildo that isn’t bad but didn’t wow me.

Clean up of the Siren is simple. I used a toy cleaner, but it can also be cleaned by boiling, dishwasher, or bleach solution. There are no crevices to make cleaning tricky. Since the toy surface is tacky, it acts like a lint magnet. I store mine in the plastic bag it came in (you could you the box too). Be sure to wipe it down before use each time to remove all the fuzz it has picked up.

Score:  5 out of 10
