I’m late in writing this but I was given these toys to celebrate Valentine’s day. While the delivery is late, the toys are the same and I’m thrilled to introduce them to you! I’ve decided to group these two together because they are from the same line. Today I’ll be reviewing the Desire Luxury Rechargeable Wand Vibrator (here) & Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On (here) for you.
I’ve had pretty good luck with Lovehoney toys
Lovehoney has awesome toys and while they still send me toys other than their own, I get so excited to use their newest Lovehoney brand toys. I’ve had a pretty mixed history with the Lovehoney toys but the strapless strapon really hit the mark. There are some I love, some I don’t love, and some that were just awful in action but pretty good in design.
This time, I’m going to share my thoughts on the Desire Luxury Rechargeable Wand Vibrator & the Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On with you.
Let’s take a look at the similarities first:
Both toys are a dark purple, a color that Lovehoney utilizes a lot. I don’t care for the color, but I don’t hate it. I think that purple is less likely to turn someone off to a toy than, say, a pink toy like this thrusting one.
They both have similar vibrations and both of these toys have 12 intensities, and 8 patterns. While I don’t especially care for patterns, it’s fun to use for y’all. Desire Luxury Rechargeable Wand Vibrator & Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On have insertable charging ports. One end of the charging cable is a USB3 which means that it plugs into most things now like my computer or my bedside table light.
Rechargeable toys are ideal in my mind. Overall, they’re better for the environment and eventually they feel better for your wallet. Less battery waste and less batteries you’ll have to shell out cash for. It’s a win-win in my book.
Let me just say that I appreciate all the silicone on these toys. The whole damn wand, and the strapless strapon, are covered in dark purple silicone. Although the silicone is described as “velvety-smooth” I found that to be…. almost right. The silicone, when rubbed a bit, becomes a tad bit less velvet-smooth but it still is a huge improvement among other toys. It takes a fair amount of lube for me to get this going comfortably but that’s no bother. I like lube, I know to use it every time I insert a toy into my ass or vagina, so I’m happy to use it. If you aren’t a fan of lube – or don’t use it – I like this silky water-based lube and this one.
Trust me, lube makes everything feel way better to my body and I don’t want you to miss out on that. There are even external toys I lube up a little for comfort. It should also be noted that silicone lube can damage silicone toys so stick with water-based lube for these two toys.
Next, I want to explore each toy in more detail.
Desire Luxury Rechargeable Wand Vibrator
The Desire Luxury Rechargeable Wand Vibrator was a fun toy to review. It looks like a wand vibrator for the most part and is shaped loosely like a wand vibrator. It has a broad, large handle that spans about the length of most of my forearm. On the handle are three control buttons. It comes with a secure, discreet, carrying case that you can charge your toy in or, with its two zippers, close the bag while you stash it in your suitcase.
The Desire Luxury Rechargeable Wand Vibrator is weighty, but not as weighty as the Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On. Still, it is not nearly as heavy as the le Wand vibrators or the Hitachi or We-Vibe wand. Its weight made it comfortable hold. On top of that, so did the shape.
The head of the wand is really interesting and in a really good way. The head has a sharp edge which is perfect for pinpoint stimulation and there is a nub on the head. The nub is unusual and I found that it didn’t give me the pin-point stimulation that the edge of the head of the toy did.
The vibrations aren’t bad, but they certainly don’t rival other wands I’ve used and that’s a shame. For the price, though, you may be better off getting a different wand that has more power.
Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On
The Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On is now my favorite strapless strap-on. Before this one, I’d only tried the Tantus Feeldoe and it no longer competes with other strapless strapons. Right now, Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On is where it’s at.
It’s a remote-controlled vibrating strapless strapon that the user inserts into their vagina. I was able to keep it inside of me pretty well when I angled the toy inside of me just right. I used the remote to stimulate the toy inside of me while my partner took the longer end. Unfortunately, with repeated thrusting, I wasn’t able to keep the toy inside of me for very long so I paired it with a harness which did the trick.
The vibrations were strong and on the lowest setting, they were rumbly. Usually, when wearing a harness, I would have to tuck a vibrator in the harness to stimulate myself. It’s such an awesome experience when the toy itself vibrates, thus stimulating both of us.
Overall
The wand is a decent toy. It does the trick and the shape of the head is great for different stages of stimulation. The Desire Luxury Rechargeable Remote Control Strapless Strap-On is amazing and I highly recommend it. In fact, it’s the best I’ve come across.

Okay so my partner and I got into strap ons this year but have only used a harness. The research i did on strapless strap ons generally concluded that they don’t ever work that well. do you have a differing opinion? it seems like it would be pretty magical if it did work so if you can recommend suggestions or any additional info that would be amazing. second, i’ve never had a wand of any sort and i’ve been wondering if that’s another toy worth investing in.
I had to eventually use the strapless strapon in conjunction with a harness. I liked this one because it stimulated both of us. A wand is a great investment to make! I wouldn’t suggest getting this one. The [Hitachi] Original Magic Wand or the Wand by We-Vibe are excellent.
So not necessarily a strapless strap on but still suits it’s own unique purpose, noted! A Hitachi has also been on my want list for a long time.
Good thing a storage case is included, looks like these toys might be cat hair magnets based on the photos.
Oh, yeah, they can be for sure. If that’s an issue then def keep them in the storage bag. I’ve given up on cat hair on my toys. Bring. It. On.
Strapless Strap-On never seem to work for us
I always end up having to use it with a harness in order to keep going.
The Desire Luxury wand vibrator has such a unique shape! It’s a bummer that the vibrations aren’t great, because it seems more ergonomic than some other wands I’ve tried.
Honestly, sometimes buzzy-ish vibrations work for people. I used a toy a while ago that was totally buzzy BUT it did the job.
I bought Desire Luxury Rechargeable Strapless Strap-On Dildo Vibrator, but it doesn’t charge :/, I received another one and is the same problem :(, I changed the usb plug and nothing, I have 2 days charging it, what do you recommend? I already unlocked the secure mode, when I clicked on plus button just vibrates like a second (each time) and thats it. What do I have to do?
