Holy hell, the Caribbean Shine G-Spot Vibrator is INSANE. It vibrates, sucks, and thumps. When I’m exposed to new brands, I don’t always have high hopes for the toys. I’d never heard of Alive, a sister site to Adrien Lastic, but I was happy to work with them.

They sent me the Caribbean Shine G-Spot Pulsating & Suction Vibrator and the Caress. Both of these toys are just so fucking weird. I knew that the Caribbean Shine G-Spot Pulsating & Suction Vibrator has bold claims, so I was eager to find out if they held up to the share on the box. The fact that it would have all three types of stimulation that I like seemed far-fetched to me.

Design

The design of the Caribbean Shine Vibrator sex toy appears to be pretty standard. It’s a rabbit vibrator with an arm to stimulate one’s clitoris and a shaft to use internally. In theory, this toy can be used by all genitals, including the anus. In the case of this review, it was only used on my clit and vagina.

Both ABS plastic and silicone are body-safe materials. While in use, the only part of this rabbit in contact with your genitals is the silicone-covered shaft and arm. It’s important to note that silicone lube can damage silicone toys. Always use water-based lubricant with the toy to ensure that there won’t be lasting damage.

Toy in Use

Charging the Caribbean Shine with the magnetic USB charger, it’s time to go! Press and hold the power button to turn on the toy. It’ll turn on the features for a split second. After that, it’s in your hands. The top button controls the thumping, which powers between “fast” and “Oh fuck, hold on tight.” It also starts the suction feature. The lower button controls the buzzy vibrations. I found more pleasure with the suction and thumping than the vibrations.

It’s awkward to turn on the thumping motion before inserting the toy into my vagina, but it wasn’t difficult to control the thumping after the fact. The buttons are raised and easy to push.

Rose’s Experience

The Caribbean Shine G-Spot Pulsating & Suction Vibrator overwhelmed me with sensations. And let me tell you something before I forget: this toy is LOUD. Like, it’s a high, frantic, mechanical noise that makes me fear it’s about to keel over dead.

I waited to turn on the toy until it was in my vagina. The large buttons make it easy to control without looking down. I couldn’t get enough of the thumping and suction. Since the vibrations were sub-par, I used them long enough to tell you they are way too buzzy for me to get off on, but then turned them off to revel in the suction and g-spot thumping of the Caribbean Shine.

I glopped on lube, as one should, to have a sleeker ride. I used lube on my clit as well as the shaft inside of my vagina. I’ve found that lube can give your clip a whole new experience. Usually, I opt for no lube with suction toys, but I’m glad I decided to use water-based lubricant this time.

The bulbous base of the toy was easy to hold and wasn’t hard on the wrists. It fits perfectly in my palm. Pressing the buttons was a breeze, too. There have been toys that are hard to use when you have weak wrists like my wife.

Summary

I want to recommend the Caribbean Shine. I do. The execution was outstanding. I loved the thumping of the head and the clit sucking. However, the damn thing is so loud, and on top of the fact that all the functions are noisy, there was a mechanical hum. I cannot get past that. I almost didn’t want to use it myself when my wife was home because you can easily hear it between walls.

This is not a toy to use if you live with roommates, partners, or family and don’t want them to know that you’re jacking off. It’s not discreet at all, which can be a problem for a lot of people. Because of that, this is most likely a toy for some of us to pass on.
