Oh, Bob, this toy blew me away. I hesitated to try it because I’d never worked with Honey Play Box before, but their toy was the bomb.

First Impressions of the Incredibly Intense Honey Play Box Joi

I love working with foreign companies because they are often hits. When Honey Play Box offered me the Joi, I was intrigued. If this licker and gyrator worked as intended, it would be the bomb. 

I made sure to ask for the Joi in orange. While pink is my favorite color, I know to most people it isn’t, so I try to get unusual-colored toys when I can. 

Just looking at the Joi was exciting when it arrived in a discreet box. It’s a vibrant orange that pops when you look at it. 

I was thrilled with not only the packaging but the packaging on the packaging. A cardboard sleeve covers the toy’s box, so there’s NO way to preview what’s inside. I haven’t seen this before and am thrilled that Honey Play Box does this. Sex toys aren’t widely accepted, so any further precautions for one’s privacy are much appreciated.   

Care, Keeping, and Materials of the Little-Known Joi

The Honey Play Box Joi is a silicone toy, which means it’s body-safe, non-porous, and won’t harbor bacteria. Silicone is easy to clean BOUND, though some toys’ texture can make it challenging. All you have to do is wash it thoroughly with soap and water. If you’re lazy, a toy cleaner will do the trick, but clean it before the subsequent use. 

Silicone coats Joi’s buttons, shaft, licker, and base. The only part that isn’t silicone is a gold slab of ABS plastic, another body-safe material, and it seems to serve no purpose other than to show the logo of Honey Play Box. It’s important to note that silicone lube can and will damage silicone toys. Water-based lube is the safest route; trust me, you want lube. If you’re feeling adventurous or want to take this toy anally, a silicone/water-based lube hybrid will work. But if you go the hybrid route, test it on the toy first.

The Wacky Honey Play Box Joi in Action

You know the drill: plug the Joi in a few hours before you want to play with it to ensure you don’t get into a jack-off session, and then the toy breaks. That’s the worst. 

The Joi is easy to operate, which is always a relief. Button one turns the toy oscillating and vibrations on (at the same time), and button two starts the tongue flickering. The tongue flickering isn’t a new feature for a sex toy, and neither is an oscillating shaft, but vibrations mixed with the oscillating shaft of the Joi? That’s the ticket. 

Waterproof toys rock, and Joi is no exception to that. You can wash the Joi without taking care not to get water in openings, but you can also take it in the water and have a go at it! Waterproof toys are a massive thing for me, as I used to masturbate solely in the bath.

Accessibility of the Honey Play Box Joi

The Honey Play Box Joi is large enough to touch plenty of surfaces. The buttons have defined ridges that allow you to feel the right button without looking at it, which is a great thing to provide. Not all toys do that *cough* Womanizer Duo *cough*, but the Joi allows touch to guide you.

Though that doesn’t happen to everyone, toys with bulbous heads can irritate a birthing person’s pelvis. Joi’s bulbous head could cause a problem, as could the oscillating. However, it’s nothing like Pure Wand or Comet 2. Would I risk this toy if I had pelvic issues? I’d considered. Now, I have a stupid-tight (medically-so) vagina, so getting the Joi in wasn’t easy, but I stuck with it and gave it a go. As soon as the toy was in my vagina, I was geared up and ready to go.

My wife has severe carpal tunnel syndrome by now, but the Joi was a joy (lol) to use. She doesn’t need to move the toy at all and can still fuck me with the toy. Quite frankly, the toy does all the work for her.

My Experience with the Honey Play Box Joi

As a reviewer, I put many things in my body for my readers. Sometimes, the product is nothing special. I’ll use the toy twice or thrice to get a good sense of how it works and feels before writing a review. 

Often, however, it’s nothing special, and I’ll feel I’ve got an idea of how the toy works. The jack-off session isn’t anything special in that case. However, the Honey Play Box Joi is a toy I enjoyed my good time with. I’ve tried licking toys, and they are a new sensation. When a partner’s tongue can’t keep up, my sex toys are up for the task. That’s why I was so excited when I was approached to try the Honey Play Box Joi.

I was fascinated with the functions of the Joi. I don’t usually go for internal vibes ROMP CELLO, but at times, they’re *chef’s kiss*, and I was willing to take this toy on. I’ve tried oscillating toys, and they’ve been acceptable. 

The Joi, however, really hits the nail on the head. I can feel it oscillate in my vagina as the mouth of the toy flickers against my clit. Like oral sex toys (air-pulse sex toys), flickering tongues are a feature I get woozy over ever since I discovered SQWEEL that I could get off on stimulation like that. Additionally, this toy is anal-safe, and it was an exciting experience wearing it backward, so the licker was against my anus.

You must note that you cannot turn off the vibrations while having the Joi oscillate. That ended up not being an issue for me when, in the past, it would have been an issue. I didn’t feel the vibrations from the shaft of the toy in the clit licker. I found that was preferable so I could focus on the “licking” function of the Joi. 

Overall

The Honey Play Box Joi is a big “win” in my book. The oscillating shaft, the flickering tongue, and the g-spot vibrations were stellar. Although I’m not usually a fan of internal vibrations, I’ve learned to enjoy them, and I was thrilled that Joi has vibrations.
