I’ve reviewed quite a few ROMP toys, and I was pleased to add the ROMP Jazz and ROMP Beat to my queue. ROMP toys are cheap, well-made, and carried in most familiar retail stores. Coming across cheap quality toys gives me such a thrill! 

Accessibility

The Beat is easy to control. There is one big button that is easy to depress. The Jazz, on the other hand, like the HYPE, is controlled by two tricky buttons to press. My wife could barely do it on a good day with her carpal tunnel. As far as these toys go with bigger bodies – the ROMP Beat is plenty big enough for a bullet to reach past my stomach and the Jazz was excellent. I held the end of the ROMP Jazz and inserted the toy vaginally with no issues.

Design, Materials, Care, and Keeping  

ROMP toys are silicone and ABS plastic. The Jazz is entirely covered with silicone down to the two buttons that control the toy. The Beat has a plastic button but a silicone-covered body. These toys are body-safe, non-porous, and easy to clean. 

Before and after use, wash the Jazz and the Beat with soap and water, and you’re good to go. You don’t need to bleach these toys; soap is enough. 

However, not using silicone lube with these silicone ROMP toys is one thing to note. Silicone lube can harm silicone toys. Instead, try water-based lube like Sliquid or Good Lube. I like them both! 

Experience

As impressive as the ROMP Beat is, it is not anal-safe because it doesn’t have a flared base. The anus is the black hole of the body and will suck up anything you stick in your ass. Just don’t do that with the ROMP Beat, please! 

On the other hand, the ROMP Jazz is anal-safe because of the arm if you choose to use it. I decided to use both toys vaginally.

After struggling to turn on the toy, the ROMP Jazz worked well with my body. No rabbit with adjustable ears like the Nova or a Happy Rabbit aligned with my body. Plus, I found that the arm kept sliding to the side of my clit, but I loved using the Jazz vaginally.

The vibrations traveled strong, and the g-spotting potential is on-par with the ROMP Hype. While the ROMP Jazz doesn’t get a *chef’s kiss* for the placement of its arm-to-my-clit, the price makes this very *kiss*-worthy. The ROMP Jazz is $40, a steal for a toy that works so well.

The ROMP Beat was epic on another level. While I didn’t care for the Beat internally – it was “meh” – using the Beat as a bullet vibrator on my clitoris was a dream. The ROMP Beat was easy to turn on and easy to control. It has a slightly pointed tip that I was able to use for pinpoint stimulation on my clit, and I could rest its body along my vulva for a broader sensation. While some toys are fantastic and offer pinpoint stimulation, it’s a joy when a toy like the ROMP Beat can do both. To top off such a great toy, it’s only $25, which is a crazy-low price for a toy of this quality. The ROMP Beat gets a full-on french *chef’s* kiss.

Overall

It brings joy to my well-used vagina and clit to find toys of this quality for so cheap. Seriously, $40 for the ROMP Jazz and $25 for the ROMP Beat is insane. While I preferred using the Beat, they were both superb. All that being said, I’m going to be keeping the Beat on my bedside table, and you bet your ass I’m going to be buying this cheap bullet for my friends. I’m leaning toward declaring the ROMP Beat to be the best, most affordable vibrator I’ve tried.

Should You Get It?

I cannot tell you how much I love the ROMP line. Aside from hard-to-press buttons, the toys are colorful, powerful, cheap, and easy to control. If you’re looking for a g-spotter and don’t want to deal with the hit-or-miss arm of the Jazz, the ROMP Hype will do the job. The Jazz will work with specific vulvas, while the Beat has the potential to work with almost everybody. The ROMP Beat can be used anywhere on your body, including the vulva, clit, perineum, or nipples.

So, get the Beat and consider the Jazz. For this price, I’m comfortable with the hit-or-miss arm of the Jazz.
