The Vibed has sent me amazing toys and a questionable toy that still got me off. When I got the Viotec Tethys Touch Panel G-Spot Vibrator, I was skeptical. The g-spot stroker is small, especially compared to other strokers. I was pleasantly confused; it turned out. Read on for my review of the Viotec Tethys.

Design
The Viotec Tethys Touch G-Spot Vibrator is as described in the name of the toy. It’s a g-spotter which is the kind of toy I gravitate toward. However, this isn’t just a g-spot vibrator that provides stimulations with the head’s shape and the vibrations alone. There is something that sets it apart – a goddamn stroker made of three little beads. This little shit hit the spot though you may not think it could when you see it turn on.
One thing that sets the Viotec Tethys G-Spot Vibrator apart from other toys is the touch panel controls. It took a while to get used to them, and they turned out to be more of a bother than a cool little feature. Honestly, the pain of trying to figure it out wasn’t worth the cool tech.
I love rechargeable toys. While they may be more expensive in the short-term, they are well worth it if you can afford them. Rechargeable toys last longer, eliminate battery waste and can be plugged in virtually everywhere. Over time, you also save money by not using batteries. On top of that, they often have longer playtimes once they’re charged. The Viotec Tethys G-Spot Vibrator can be plugged in anywhere that takes a USB adapter. In fact, I plug my new toys into my laptop so I can get them ready for use and so that I can look at them and get even more excited to use them.
Viotec Tethys Touch Panel G-Spot Vibrator In Use
Depress the power button of the Viotec Tethys G-Spot Vibrator, and it turns on right away. To start the stroking beads, you hit the button above the power button. You can control the speed of the beads with the same controls.
The touch screen comes into play when you want to control the speed of the vibrational patterns. Unfortunately, this means that it’s easy to touch the touch-screen while in use accidentally.
The Viotec Tethys Touch Panel G-Spot Vibrator is easy to use as long as you don’t hit the touchscreen button. I honestly thought the touchscreen was more trouble than it was worth. I used a plethora of lube which meant my hands were especially slippery. While the touchscreen usually worked while my (water-based) lube-covered fingers tried to control the toy, it didn’t always. I ended up having to take the toy out of my vagina to try to figure out where the touchscreen was.
Details of the Viotec Tethys Touch Panel G-Spot Vibrator
Material: medical-grade silicone, ABS plastic (click here for more info on how to take care of silicone toys)
7 vibration patterns (I’m not a huge fan of vibrational patterns but you may be…)
5 vibration intensities (The more, the merrier!)
Length: 7.5 inches (about 5″ insertable length)
Width: 1.25 inches (This is pretty standard for an insertable vibrator you’ll find.)
USB rechargeable (cord included)
Splashproof (Don’t submerge the poor thing in a bath. Just use water and soap when you’re washing it off before and after use.)
1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty (This is EXCELLENT. Most toys do not come with a warranty, let alone one this long. Take advantage of this if you get this toy.)
Materials, Care, and Keeping
The Viotec Tethys Vibrator is made of silicone and ABS plastic. Both materials are body-safe, and the only material designed to go into your body is the silicone shaft and head.
Do not use silicone lube with silicone toys. It can degrade the toy. However, water-based lube is the go-to for silicone toys. In fact, I highly advise that you use water-based lube with the toy. It makes things go smoother and allows for more comfortable insertion and thrusting.
This toy is splashproof according to the website (though the box says waterproof, I’m a bit confused) and can be cleaned with soap and water or a toy cleaner. Always wash your toys before and after use. You can use toy cleaners like this one if you’re strapped for time or, like me, are about to fall asleep. It is important to note that this toy is not anal safe because it does not have a base that will stop your anus from swallowing the toy.
The Viotec Tethys can collect cat hair, so using the included storage bag may be a good idea in a household with furry pets. Since you’re washing the toy before and after use, however, this is not necessary. It’s just a nice touch. This silicone is silky smooth and is not sticky like some other toys I’ve reviewed. In fact, this is one of my favorite silicone toys to feel. It just feels…. good.
My Experience With the Viotec Tethys Touch Panel G-Spot Vibrator
I was SUPER excited to use this toy. I love everything and anything g-spot-stimulating, so you can see why this toy appealed to me. At first glance, I didn’t have much hope that the three beads intended for g-spot stimulation would do much for me. But, surprisingly, it hit the spot.
I don’t know if my vagina was more sensitive than usual because of where I was in my cycle, but it worked for me. I turned the toy on before I put it inside of me because it was easier. Adjusting the beads was nigh impossible when it was inside of me. But holy shit, y’all, when it was in me and even when it wasn’t positioned correctly, I could feel the tiny beads.
The Viotec Tethys Touch Panel felt the same as the plastic handle. With lube-covered fingers, it was tough to figure out where the touch panel was. I found it more of a nuisance than a convenience. In fact, I have another Viotec toy for review, and I have the same issues with the Touch Panel. It’s a cool feature in theory, but the performance doesn’t pan out.
Honestly, the beads really surprised me. Like, I didn’t expect that. I didn’t expect to feel the beads or get pleasure from them. But, as I suspected, I loved the head of the toy. It’s one of my favorite shapes, and I jump at the chance to review every toy I come across that has that magickal shape. The toy targets and hits my g-spot without fail.
I was able to thrust with the Viotec Tethys, which is always a great feature of this shape. I’ve found that having a partner thrust the toy inside of me could hurt a tad. However, my partner was able to manipulate the toy without hurting me in the slightest.
Summary
Overall, this toy surprised me! It’s an excellent g-spotter that hits the spot. It’s rechargeable which is ALWAYS a plus, which means it’ll last longer. It is also splashproof to easily wash the silicone with soap and water to clean it or quickly wash it with a toy cleaner. The three beads that stroked my g-spot shocked me that I was able to feel them and the vibrations are…. relatively strong. For me, the appeal wasn’t the vibrations but the stroking beads.

Wow, looks like so much fun to play with!
It was! I’m very happy with it.
Oooh! I’ve been wanting a vibe with the beads like this one. Very interesting. Nice to know that they do their job.
Doooooo eet
Well of course I love the color! I’m always into trying new gspot stim toys, and I’m super curious about the touch panel.
Me toooo, I love trying new g-spot toys! The touch panel was fun. ^_^
I wondered how well the touchscreens in this line would work with lube covered fingers when I first saw them. As I suspected, it sounds a bit hit or miss. At least this doesn’t seem to really detract from an otherwise well designed toy. Thanks for your thorough review!
Sure thing. I’m reviewing another viotec toy this Saturday and holy shit it’s a mess
just saw that you were giving away one of these for april and wanted to peep the review before entering, as always so informative. 🙂
Hey, bud! I’m so glad you like it! I hope you win (again!) 😉
This was soooo informational! I love your description of the toy and the summary at the end was very helpful. I can’t wait to try it!
Good luck!! This one is gonna be fun 🙂
This looks really intriguing. I’ve seen other internal toys with moving beads but they didn’t have as appealing a shape as the Tethys.
Yeah, I love this particular g-spotting shape!
Well that sounds absolutely delightful! Very intriguing!
😉
Looks intriguing.
