I love reviewing dildos. While I feel there’s usually more content for toys that are mechanical, I prefer non-vibrating, internal stimulation, though I cannot come from it. I was given the Avant D15 for review along with this vibrator, a tongue toy, and a g-spot stroker.

I chose the Avant D15 because it’s on the smaller side, which is what I need to penetrate my partner with. While I felt it was too small for me to use vaginally with much pleasure, she’s able to comfortably get the Avant D15 in her ass. As it turned out, so was I.

Materials, Care, and Keeping

I do stray from only silicone toys occasionally but when I trust a manufacturer like Blush Novelties, I don’t have to worry about their claim of silicone being false. Recently, I came across a brand that I don’t trust to have true silicone.

Blush Novelties makes bunches of great toys and the Avant D15 is one of them.

The Avant D15 is completely silicone. Silicone is a body-safe material that can be washed with soap and water and be ready for use right after that. There are tons of non-body-safe materials that you have to be aware of but silicone is great. It’s non-porous and does not absorb bodily fluids. Obviously, because of the purpose of this dildo, it’s gonna get messy.

I haven’t felt the need to bleach it with a 10:1 water-to-bleach solution. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you can do that all you want. I simply wash my silicone toys (with the exception of BOUND) with soap and water.

Attracting lint of cat hair happens but it’s not overwhelming with the Avant D15 like it is for some other toys. That’s always a relief. You can also wipe the toy with a toy cleaner.

The Blush Avant D15 in action

When it comes to dildos, the Blush Avant D15 isn’t anything extra. However, its size does come with a few perks. I’m not one who loves anal-stimulation. However, I’m happy to put things in my ass for you, especially things that vibrate, but I did. I found that the Blush Avant D15 is the first dildo that I can comfortably put in my ass. On top of that, I was able to thrust-in-and-out with the dildo which is a first.

For the majority of my review, I used this dildo anally. I was so excited to be able to do that comfortably.

I had to get comfortable

To start out with, I sent my wife to take a bath while I spread out on the couch. It didn’t pop into my ass as easy as a butt plug with a tiny neck. But it was plenty comfortable to be used as an anal safe toy. Preparing to not like the anal stimulation, I made sure to take it slowly.

But, my body didn’t mind the Avant D15 and accepted it quickly and comfortably. I used an oil-based lube to make sure the slip-n-slide of the toy lasted. With the oil-based lube, I was able to take this dildo anally in the shower. You’ll have noticed that I like combining water with sex toys. One concern I had was accidentally making a mess. Taking the Avant D15 Dildo in the shower made me more comfortable.

But I do love it and one thing I appreciated about it was that it does not have a g-spot curve. While I haven’t delved very deep into different shaped dildos in my butt, I did appreciate that it was a straight dildo.

Furthermore, this dildo has a suction cup bottom which made it anal-safe but also allowed for some fun play against my dresser.

My Wife’s Experience

I slipped on my harness and attached the Avant D15 to it. I was able to slip a vibrator in there so I’d get some stimulation. The dildo took to my wife’s ass a bit more time to get it and she enjoyed the thrusting. It’s something different than she’s used to but she was pleased.

Overall Thoughts

I loved the Blush Avant D15! That little fucker did me in the ass comfortably and it will be a toy I use again after this review goes live. What makes it even more exciting is that I could peg my wife with it. While she can take large butt plugs, she isn’t a fan of dildos. This one, however, worked anally for both of us and I’m fucking thrilled.

Since this toy is my go-to for pegging, I’d recommend that you try it for yourself. Grab some lube, get out a harness, get stimulation for yourself and penetrate someone’s ass with care.

tl;dr

This dildo is the perfect size for my ass, and for my partners. It’s anal-safe and harness-compatible because of the flared base. I paired it with the Joque Spareparts Harness in order to peg my wife but the Vibed has an excellent array of harnesses to choose from. It’s a decent length, and quite thin which made it even comfortable for me to take anally.
