Review: Stronic Surf

A little bit about Fun Factory and it’s Stronic Line

If you want to know something about my vagina it’s that it loves the Stronic line by Fun Factory. They’ve only gone wrong once and while that was a shame, it didn’t turn me off to the line. How could it? The Stronic line thrusts so well, is super quiet, and can be hands-free. It’s perfect for when my partner has a flare-up of carpal tunnel. And for when I’m feeling super-fucking lazy but want a good lay. As usual, I was so excited to try their latest toy (no longer the latest) the Stronic Surf.

Fun Factory has a few bold statements on their site for the Stronic Surf. They say that participants in their study reported being aroused more often and that the Stronic Surf improved blood flow to lead to stronger orgasms. While I don’t know if it’s worked long-term, I can tell you that the waves of the Stronic Surf did feel magnificent.

The Stronic Surf is a silicone pulsating toy that has big waves like the ocean.

Fucking magnets?!

The Stronic Surf pulsates with the help of magnets inside the body of the toy (FUCKING MAGNETS?! -Breaking Bad) that make the toy move forward and back. And by golly does that toy pulsate.

I have strong PC muscles and even when tightening my vag the Stronic Surf still does its thang. I don’t have to hold the Stronic Surf with my hand at all. You’d think that a toy that pulsates may need a guiding hand but that’s not the case with the Stronic Surf. I can ride that fucker hands-free just fine. It’s perfect for when my partner and I don’t feel like using our hands.

Can I use this in my ass?

I’m super excited that the Stronic Surf is anal-safe. It’s always such a delight when I can stick a toy both up my vag and up my ass. This means that those with just a butthole can enjoy the Stronic Surf as well. Given how tight buttholes are, I cannot comment on how the thrusting of the Stronic Surf fairs in such a tight orifice.

Now, there is a discrepancy about this toy being anal-safe. On their site, the listing states that this is not an anal-safe toy despite the larger flare at the bottom. It then goes on to say that it is, in fact, anal-safe. I reached out to Fun Factory to clarify but at the time of publication I haven’t heard back about this.

The Stronic Surg isn’t a HUGE toy, it’s pretty much perfect for my body. While I like a bit of girth, there is such a thing as too big for me. The Surf is truly my ideal size.

The joy of the Stronic Surf is that its waves on the top and the bottom alternate, thus making the Stronic Surf have constant ups and downs. I loved the waves it took me on. I’m not surprised that blood flow would be increased with this toy.

Care and keeping of the Stronic Surf

The Stronic Surf is a silicone toy. Silicone is a body-safe toy, as is ABS plastic (the handle and buttons). This toy doesn’t need to be sanitized on a regular basis but you absolutely can. Simple washing with soap and water will do the trick. While you cannot boil this silicone toy because of the mechanics, you can soak it in a water-to-bleach solution. Just be sure to wash the crevices where the silicone of the toy meets the ABS plastic handle.

I love Fun Factory’s chargers. They’re bright red (easier to keep track of) and they’re magnetic. The Stronic Surf, along with all the others in the Stronic line, is rechargeable. That means a toy may be more expensive. Rechargeable toys are better for the environment and, long term, better for your wallet. Plus, they seem to last longer.

My experience with the Stronic Surf

he Fun Factory Stronic Surf has three buttons: on/off and speed up and down that also controls the patterns.

Because I’m well-versed in Fun Factory pulsator toys, I didn’t need to read the instruction manual. I simply plugged the Stronic Surf into my computer and waited for it to charge while I did a little digging into this specific toy.

There are three buttons on the Stronic Surf — a quick on/off button and a (+) and a (-) button. I was able to turn the toy on when it was already inside of me and control it without looking at the buttons.

I was careful to use copious amount of lube with their silicone which does have a bit of a drag. In action, the Stronic Surf is easy to control and it doesn’t require me to take the toy out of my body, something I HATE. Nothing spoils the mood like having to take a lubed-up TOY out of you so you can move the speed or pattern.

Final Thoughts

For those of you who like toys with __ rather than texture, or just straight up-and-down then the Stronic is up your alley. In fact, this is one of my more favorite toys when it comes to construction. I don’t usually like toys likle this but I’m glad I tried it because I really do like it.

If this doesn’t seem like the right Stronic toy for you, check out the other toys in this line. I hope you’ll find one that works out just right for you.

You can get the Stronic Surf here at Fun Factory. While you’re there, check out some of their other toys that I love like the Volta (review here) or Mr. Boss (review here). If you’re looking for dildos I like the Amor (read my review here) and the Bouncer (review here). If you want something in your ass, the B Balls Duo are good for that (review).

  1. I am really pleased Fun Factory came out with the all black line of toys, they look so sleek and futuristic.

    1. Yes, it’s great but the texture is shit without a bunch of lube. Honestly, for the toy and it’s functions I’m happy to use it even though it requires so much lube. I use a lot of lube anyway, really, so it’s not an issue.
