Intro to Alan Dual-Density vibrating dildo and suction cup dildo & They/Them super soft dildo

I am so happy to be working with Tantus again. They’re one of my favorite sex toy manufacturers/retailers. All of their dildos are silicone and many have holes for a bullet vibrator like the Alan dual-density vibrating dildo. Alan O2 is also a suction cup dildo. While the They/Them dildo doesn’t have a bullet hole, I didn’t need one to make the toy spectacular. The two toys are harness compatible dildos.

On top of that, Tantus has dual-density (O2) and Super Soft options for quite a few of their toys. My favorite toys from them are dildos that are either Super Soft or dual-density. Their firmer toys are a little too firm for me so I’m happy when I have the Super Soft and dual-density options as well.

When I was given the option to pick two Tantus toys, I went with the Alan Dual-Density Vibrating kit, and the They/Them is super soft. I thought that Alan would give me many options, given that it comes with a suction base. If you’re not using the suction cup, then you can stick a bullet in the indentation.

My Experience with the They/Them Dildo

They/Them is a silver dildo that is short and stout. It's a great filler dildo while I come. Also comes in blue and pink

Tantus used to offer really firm, stiff-ish dildos. Though I like them as a company, and trust their products, I was often hesitant to take them for review. Especially the bigger ones. When toys are firm they feel bigger than they’d feel in a “super-soft” format like the They/Them.

The good news is that Tantus now offers many of their toys in “O2” (their version of a dual-density toy) or super-soft in addition to their firmer toys. In fact, the They/Them I received from them for review is super soft, and I am so pleased I got this toy in that firmness.

The They/Them is quite girthy. In fact, it’s more girthy than most of the toys I have. I tend to go with toys that are “average girth” but longer because I like anterior fornix stimulation (or, a-spot stimulation).

I mean…. It went into my vagina just fine

The They/Them leaves me feeling nice and full. They/Them in my vagina with little resistance, thanks to the supersoft option. I used this toy by myself, without a partner, and I’m glad I did. Because the They/Them is so short, I kept ramming the dildo in as far as possible. I couldn’t get that a-spot stimulation that I needed.

Although it wasn’t right for my body, it was fun being able to take a toy of that girth so easily. Plus, playing with a supersoft dildo is plenty of fun for my hands, too.

I had a more satisfying experience with the Alan O2 but when I’m masturbating alone, the They/Them is great for feeling full. I have no complaints for the They/Them.

My Experience with the Alan O2 Vibrating Dildo

Ohhhh, y’all, the Alan is a new favorite. I’ve been disappointed in the past with their dual-density toys UNCUT, but for some reason, the Alan just felt…. better. The outside is a comfortable smush while the inside is firm. Unlike other dildos, Alan is not overly sticky.

The nice thing is about this Alan O2 is that it’s part of a vibrating kit. That means that it can hold a bullet. On top of that, if you’re not using the bullet, or just want to have a little fun, you can insert a suction cup into the bullet hole.

I personally did not use the bullet that the Alan came with. Rather, I used it with my favorite bullet instead. I find that the Tantus bullets are too buzzy, and I don’t mess with them anymore. However, even without the bullet in the Alan O2, the dildo still held its shape.

It has a suction cup, too!

The suction cup, however, is a bit of a mess. You have to use a fair amount of force to get the suction cup in the Alan O2. In fact, I had to resort to using lube to get it all in the bullet hole.

You’d think that the option to add a suction cupt would be cool, right? Well, this damn suction cup wiggles way too much in the dildo. I wasn’t able to keep the dildo under control with the suction cup in.

Overall, though, I chose to use the Alan O2 in a strap-on with my partner. I didn’t put anything the kit came with. I just wore the Alan O2 bare and had the time of my life.

If you want a bit more stability, which I don’t think is necessary, then stick the bullet in there. If you’re like me and are more interested in internal stiumlation, the Alan O2 is a good direction to go.

While it’s not a massively-long dildo, it’s significantly longer than the They/Them and thus brought me more pleasure. I love having my anterior fornix stimulated, and the Alan O2 was able to bring me there.

I tend to gravitate toward g-spot dildos and toys. The Alan is a break from that yummy curve. I wasn’t sure it’d give me enough stimulation but it did the job.

In fact, the Alan O2 is something I’ll continue to use with and without a partner.

In a Harness

The They/Them stretches my Blush harness to the max but still is a comfortable fit. Tantus offers several harnesses, but I’m not familiar with them. For this review, I bounced around with the They/Them and the Alan O2 in my Blush harness.

Although the Alan O2 can be used with a bullet dildo inside of it, I couldn’t comfortably leave the bullet vibrator in the bullet hole while wearing it in a harness. Alan O2 suction cup dildo was better in a harness by itself.

Being harness-compatible, in this case, also means that these dildos are anal-safe. The anus is the black hole of the body, so it’s important never to put something up there that doesn’t have a stopper. Both the They/Them and the Alan vibrating dildo and suction cup dildo have a flared base for ones’ anus and a harness.

Materials, Care, and Keeping

Both the They/Them dildo and the Alan suction cup dildo are platinum-grade silicone. The Alan O2 has a few extras thrown in there, but those don’t matter as much as the silicone does.

Before and after you use a silicone dildo – or any sex toy, rather – you should wash the sex toy. Although silicone is a body-safe material and can be sanitized with a bleach solution, by boiling it or sticking it in a dishwasher that can sanitize, that’s unnecessary. All you have to do with these dildos is wash them with soap and water.

Fortunately, these toys don’t have many grooves like some other toys, so they’re easy and quick to clean.

Overall Thoughts

The Alan O2 suction cup dildo is a great dildo on its own or with a bullet vibe I like. The suction cup is so-so. While I usually gravitate toward g-spot stim, I still loved the Alan for a-spot stim. The dual-density feels more natural than their other dual-density dildos. It fits perfectly in a harness and is arguably one of my favorite dual-density dildos.

The They/Them is a lovely dildo that’s perfect for filling me up. While I didn’t get the stimulation that I wanted, the feeling of my vagina pulsing around the toy when I orgasmed was excellent. It’s not a dildo for me that I’d use for thrusting, but sometimes I’m satisfied with feeling filled-up.

Both dildos are 100% silicone and of excellent quality. Tantus tends to have firm dildos which I’m not a huge fan of so I jumped at the chance of getting the They/Them in supersoft and the Alan O2 in dual-density.

Some dildos can potentially rival the Alan O2 in dual-density feels, but the Alan is now one of my favorite dildos to use in a harness, peg people with, and use along with a vibrator.

Where to buy the They/Them and Alan O2 Vibrating Kit

You can buy the They/Them on Tantus’ site and the Alan O2 vibrating dildo and suction cup dildo here.

tl;dr

To sum it up: They/Them is a short, stod, and wide dildo that fills me up. However, it’s just not long enough to stimulate my anterior fornix which is what I live for in a dildo.

Alan O2 is a fantastic dual-density dildo that I am smitten with. It has a spot for a bullet vibrator and is harness-compatible, just like the They/Them is.

  1. I think my wife would love the Alan O2 Vibrating Dildo especially with a bullet inside!

  2. Did you find the texture of the They/them to be grabby at all? I’m intrigued by the shape, but super soft silicone can be kind of a lube monster :/

    1. Actually, no. It’s not sticky like some dual density toys like the Vixen dildos. The silicone of the soft They/Them was just the same as their firmer dildos in regard to lube. Totally fine.

  3. I appreciate the emphasis you put on how solid their silicone can be, I feel like that isn’t mentioned enough lol

  4. i like that tantus offers softer/dual density options, i’m not always a fan or stiff dildos either

    1. Yeah, I’m glad they do now. I remember when they didn’t and the damn silicone felt so stiff it was almost like plastic. That’s how it was for the Tantus Bound.

  5. I’ve been interested in toys with more bullet hole options so to read your review on Alan definitely peaks my interest!
