Let’s Talk About Reliable Lovehoney & The Rabbit

I started reviewing for Lovehoney about a decade ago and looked forward to every package from them, the Mantric Rabbit being one of the most anticipated packages. From the flops to the meh to the ones I love and use repeatedly, like the Greedy Girl Rabbit and the Lovehoney and Doxy collab, I have had a fantastic experience with Lovehoney. 

Silicone is my favorite body-safe material, and this beautiful silicone, burgundy, perfectly shaped rabbit blew me away. Rabbits are hard to catch if you like them. Each body is so different that it’s impossible always to find the right design (with one exception!). I had to try this one out since I’ve had a good time with Lovehoney rabbits. 

Like the Greedy Girl Rabbit Vibrator, this Rabbit stands upright on its flat base. The base features colorful lighting that helps you know when the rabbit is fully charged and cycles through nearly the whole rainbow.

About The Lovehoney Rabbit Sex Toy

The Mantric Rabbit is a little solid thing. While the shaft has some give (depending on your preference, that could be good or bad), I appreciated the give. I could use it as intended, with the Mantric Rabbit’s shaft inside of me and the rabbit ears nestled against my clit. The Mantric rechargeable rabbit ears vibrator plugs into a USB port and charges within 90 minutes.

Design of the Rabbit Sex Toy

G-spotters are a favorite of mine, and the Mantric rabbit does not disappoint. The curve of the matric rabbit is dramatic thanks to the large head. Unlike some toys that target the g-spot with the curve of their shaft, the Mantric rabbit provides g-spot stimulation with its bulbous head taking up space in my vagina. 

Although the head is relatively large, it’s subtly tapered like the Tiger or the Lovehoney Desire Luxury, which is always welcome. I’ve reviewed many toys with a large, flat(ish) head, which is always a struggle for me. (Look for the future review of the Fairy Stump dildo!)

Many bloggers will say they despise pink and purple toys; the colors are overused and can trigger gender dysphoria for some of us. Plus, the pink and purple companies can be downright ugly. 

However, the Mantric Rabbit is a deep pink, nearly red rabbit sex toy entirely encased in silicone. If pink is necessary, this is the appropriate shade to use. While black is my favorite color for a sex toy, and hot pink is my second, the Mantric is more likely to appeal to a larger audience than a hot pink toy would. 

The Mantric Rabbit Stands Upright!

Standing toys appeal to me because I don’t have enough drawer or back door space for all my toys. I made the mistake of choosing cabinets for my IKEA cubbies long ago, so I must have a fair amount of standing toys in my collection. However, since writing this, I’ve moved into an apartment with a walk-in closet!

Lovehoney has made standing rabbits before, but the Mantric has a sturdier base that functions as a way to hold onto the toy. This feature is much appreciated. Sometimes, my hands get tired or numb from the vibrations. Any toy with a base like the Mantric Rabbit’s holds a special place in my heart. 

While the rabbit ears provide targeted clitoral stimulation, the silicone material is smooth and feels great against the skin. With a copious amount of lube, I could thrust with the Mantric comfortably.

I also appreciate how easy the Matric Rabbit is to use. The buttons are intuitively placed and easy to press, even in the heat of the moment. And while it’s not the quietest toy out there, it’s not distractingly loud either.

General Experience With the Mantric Rabbit

When you buy a rabbit, it’s usually a crap shoot. Rabbits tend to have an “arm” that will either hit your clit, or miss and go too high or too low, and you’ve got a urethra stimulator. There is an exception to this rule, but for the most part, there’s always the possibility of disappointment. 

When I chose the Mantric Rabbit, I was excited to try something different from the rabbits I usually get. Fortunately, most rabbits work with my body. I don’t know why. It may be the position of my clit on my vulva or perhaps how deep I want my toys to go, but they often work for me.  

The Rabbit was no exception to this rule that Lovehoney bequeathed me: the Mantric Rabbit fit perfectly. After glopping water-based lubricant onto the head and shaft of the Mantric rabbit sex toy, I stuck that thing inside of me. The tapered head ensured that insertion would be comfortable. 

This round, I was concerned about the size of the head. Although tapered, the bulbous head below the taper is pretty darn girthy. However, having used this toy years ago when I first took notes, I have had some issues because my vagina is too tight. When my vagina was more normal, the Mantric rabbit slid into me with ease. Years later, with some finagling and CBD lubricant, I can still make it a comfortable experience. 

What sets this toy apart is the sheer power of its vibrations. With ten different settings, from a gentle purr to a toe-curling rumble, you will find one that hits just the right spot. And the best part? It’s rechargeable, so you don’t have to worry about running out of batteries mid-session.

Ease of Use

Charging the Mantric Rabbit is fun because of the multi-colored lights on the base that tell you that the Mantric is ready to go. Please give it a 2-hour charge, and then you’re ready to go! 

I was able to use the Mantric vaginally by simply positioning it correctly. One button controls the toy and its patterns and intensities, which I greatly appreciate. That means I don’t have to stop what I’m doing to find the right buttons. 

I have a tight pelvic floor, so I didn’t need to use Kegels actively to keep the Mantric Rabbit inside of me when I fucked the Mantric Rabbit hands-free. Once I got the rabbit ears in place, I relaxed and enjoyed the vibrations.  

Materials, Care, and Keeping

Caring for the Mantric is quick and easy. If you’ve just cum before bedtime, a toy cleaner and cloth will clean the Mantric in a pinch. When you’ve got more energy, run the head and arms of the rabbit under water and wash it with soap. No annoying crevices will make cleaning the Mantric challenging, unlike some toys I’ve been graced with.

As always, don’t use silicone lube with silicone toys. Unfortunately, the silicone lube will most likely destroy the toy’s silicone. I use water-based lubes like Lovehoney Silk or Sliquid Silk, hybrid lubricants. Sliquid Sassy is a favorite water-based lube of mine, too. If you’re going to use a combination or want to test the silicone lube against your toy, choose a part of the silicone where it won’t over-damage your toy if the lube breaks down the material of the toy.

Overall

As a self-proclaimed sex toy enthusiast, I’ve tried my fair share of vibrators, dildos, and everything. But I have to say, the Lovehoney Matric Rabbit takes the cake as one of my favorite rabbit sex toys. While it isn’t a Nova 2, which maintains constant contact with the body, the Mantric Rabbit, in all its power, is an extraordinary rabbit g-spotting sex toy.

Overall, I can’t recommend the Lovehoney Matric Rabbit enough. Whether you’re a seasoned sex toy user or a beginner looking to dip your toes into the world of vibrators, I hope this toy will bring you the pleasure you’re seeking. 

When considering this toy, remember that all bodies are different. The exquisite head of the Mantric rabbit hit my G-spot like a champ, and the ears aligned with my body perfectly.
